KFP Explores Partnership with Kidney Australia

The Kidney Foundation of the Philippines (KFP) is currently reviewing a proposed Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Kidney Australia. This potential collaboration aims to establish a framework for training and certification programs that will strengthen the competence of Filipino nurses in the care of kidney patients.

If finalized, the partnership would include:

  •  Training & Certification – Enhancing the skills of Filipino nurses in dialysis care, using shared learning materials from Kidney Australia.
  •  Clinical Exposure – Providing 30 days of supervised clinical training (240 hours) at KFP facilities.
  •  Global Opportunities – Preparing Filipino nurses to meet international standards and opening pathways for employment abroad.

At this stage, the agreement remains under review by both parties. Once approved, it will pave the way for collaborative programs that aim to benefit both Filipino healthcare workers and kidney patients worldwide.
